CMSgt (ret.) Charles E. Little, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away March 13, 2013, after a brief illness. He was born June 28, 1931, in Peru, Indiana to Clara and Roy Little. He was a decorated member of the United States Air Force, retiring in 1970 after 21 years of active service. After retiring, he worked in loss prevention for L.S. Ayres and Company, retiring in 1987. He was married to the former Mary Elizabeth Woodhouse in 1952. His wife and daughter Linda Looney (Addison) predeceased him. Mr. Little is survived by daughters Karen Arland (David), of Carmel, Indiana, Charlotte Gwin, of Fishers, Indiana and Mary Holland (Chris) of Greenfield, Indiana, as well as son Bill Reed (Carolyn Casey) of Fishers, Indiana, and seven grandchildren. He was a graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis, and was active in numerous Masonic organizations, both in Fishers and in Richmond, Virginia, including Royal Arch, Scottish Rite, York Rite, Acca Temple, Hamilton Masonic Lodge #533, and AFand AM Lodge #294, Richmond, Virginia. Reverend Randy Spleth will conduct a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Geist Christian Church, 8550 Mud Creek Road, Indianapolis. The family may be greeted before and after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent Hospice, Scottish Rite Learning Center, Shriners Hospitals for Children or Geist Christian Church. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
